1. Who we are

Aurum Prestige Concierge ("Aurum," "we," "us," "our") provides luxury transportation and concierge services for families. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website and services.

For the purposes of Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020 (the "DPA"), we are the data controller of the personal information we collect.

2. Information we collect

• Waitlist information — full name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, number of children, school or pickup area, any notes you provide, and the marketing source (UTM) of the link you used to reach us.
• Account information — if you create an account, your email address and any details you add (for example, your child's name and school).
• Technical and usage data — browser type, device, pages visited, and IP address, collected automatically by our hosting provider.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your waitlist enquiry and contact you about the service.
• To provide and operate the service, including coordinating transport for your child.
• To improve our service and understand where interest comes from.
• With your consent, to send you updates about Aurum.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal information on the following lawful bases under the DPA: your consent (where you submit your details); performance of a contract (once you engage our services); and our legitimate interests (understanding enquiries and improving the service), where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

5. How we share information

• Service providers: we use Google's Firebase (Google Cloud) to store and process data on our behalf. Google acts as a data processor and does not use your data for its own purposes.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• We may disclose information where required to do so by law or to protect the safety of a child in our care.

6. International transfers

Your information is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure, which may be located outside Jamaica. We transfer data only where necessary to provide the service, and we rely on appropriate safeguards to protect it.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this policy, after which we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights (DPA 2020)

You have the right to: access your personal information; request rectification of inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict processing; object to processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

10. Children's information

We collect information about children (for example, name and school) only as provided by their parent or guardian, and only for the purpose of providing transport and concierge services.
